Holy freakin yummo this soup rocked!

I did not make this in my crockpot , crazy I know , but I made it in my giant saucepan with a lid .

Here are the deets !

You will need

1/2 large onion – diced
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can tomato paste (small can)
1 can tomato sauce
3/4 package of lasagna noodles
3 cups vegetable broth
1 cup of TVP
Garlic powder , Italian seasoning , salt , pepper and thyme
Shredded cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

Sautée onion and spices in a tbsp oil
Add the liquid ingredients and the TVP once onion is tender



Break up noodles into pieces and add to pan
Cover and let summer on low for an hour
Add the Parmesan cheese

The shredded cheese and cover


Once cheese is all melty , serve in a big bowl with more cheddar on top


Make sure you have some warm fresh bread to dip in this hearty soup !
