Oh dear lord these were EPIC!

This is just a variation on my lentil loaf recipe , jazzed up !

Here’s how it went down
First take
2 cups of lentils
4 cups vegetable broth
2 cups water


Boil lentils in broth and water until lentils are nice and plump!

In a large bowl mix together 1 cup breadcrumbs , 3/4 cup nutritional yeast , garlic powder , onion powder, 2 tsp minced garlic, big squirt of ketchup , Italian seasoning, 2tsp Bragg’s amino acid ( or Worcestershire sauce )


Add lentils and mix well

Form into burger patties


Line a baking sheet with foil and add olive oil to the sheet
Pour a small amount of oil over burgers and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes


Place steak/patty on top of a slice of fresh bread and top with your favorite gravy ! I used a mushroom gravy


For the ultimate comfort meal serve with mashed potatoes and corn ! Kiddies gobbled it up !
