So, I kinda have a half marathon to run next Sunday and guess how much training I’ve done – didley squat! Yes you read that right, I’m crazy right!
I’m running the Goodlife Toronto half marathon and I followed NO training plan this time! This will be my third half in less than a year! My very first one was exactly 1 year ago – my time 2:30
Then I ran the Rock n Roll Las Vegas in Dec- 2:26..
Today I figured I needed to get a long run in and this was the result
Oh dear lord -12 miles in 2:28
It was gorgeous out and I took advantage of the heat and sun. I ran by the water and took in some wildlife

I love the water! I should have just stayed there! Lol
I was cramping up in my calves severely and had to stretch them out multiple times. I even had to pop into the office to refill my water! See where I’m going with the timing here, I wasted alot of it!
Pretty sure I walked the last mile as it was ALL uphill. Did not plan that well.
I finished, got sweaty and a great sunburn!
Came home and BBQ ‘d up some yummy Turkey burgers
Yeah, there’s bacon and avocado on there!
Had a beauty soak in the tub with some Epsom salts and pulled these bad boys on

Then I whipped up some protein energy balls

Now I’m tucking myself in for a 9pm bedtime! That’s how I roll!
