I totally forgot to do this step, 11 things about me!
1. Well clearly I do not follow instructions well!
2. I love stupid reality TV shows.
3. Brussel sprouts are one of my favorite vegetables to roast.
4. I eat a sweet potato everyday, yes everyday.
5. I am the mother of a college aged son, I have 3 kids. 2 girls(15,9) and an 18 yr old boy.
6. I drive a black BMW that I love.
7. I am a Realtor, and I have earned Rockstar status!
8. I played on a ladies Ball Hockey team that made it to A finals in the provincial level.
9. I crochet.
10. My parents live 4 houses down from me, on the same street.
11. I sleep with 4 pillows because I hate skin to skin contact while sleeping.

What is your favorite fitness activity, and how did you get started doing it?

This is actually a tough question, I am a runner and I love it but my new passion is Crossfit. I still love running and do it every week , but I am Addicted to Crossfit now and it is kinda my favorite thing to do!

As for how did I get into it, well I saw Jen posting about her experiences and I decided to check it out. Luckily my Box just opened up at Christmas time and I jumped on the opportunity to try it out. Yes, I was hooked from that very first class.

What is your favorite cheat meal, and how often do you do it?

Anything with Bread! I love wheat! I don’t eat huge meals so a cheat for me is a pita from Extreme Pita filled with veggies and chicken and beans! Oh I also love Tostitos with Queso dip! Yumm . Oh yeah and Pizza, I love pizza. I really can go on and on here.

How old were you when you started taking care of your fitness?
Honestly, it was 2010 when I had my WLS and I said I am going to do whatever it takes to get myself in order. I had enough of being obese and I was not going to quit until I achieved my goal. This is what I started at – 284 lbs of unhappiness

What is your worst bad habit?
Well, maybe I don’t rest enough? I workout 6 days a week , I’m a mom and I work full time as a Realtor. I would love to take more time off, away on vacation to just unwind. My other bad habit is I have a huge tendency to start things and not finish them. I’m talking household renos! I have half painted walls, rooms with no carpet, no trim, flooring pulled up.. Yeah I know, I’m a realtor but my house doesn’t show like its for sale! I live in it!

Favorite place to shop?

Any outlet mall I can! I am a shopaholic! I have the purses and shoes and workout clothes to prove it. I have been known to burn thru an Ikea like a Boss as well! I can shop for hours, but I absolutely have to be alone. I’m a loner shopper. I go at my pace and hate having people waiting on me. I will just get in my car and head to the city all by myself for the day! It is my fav hobby!

Why did you start blogging?

For me, blogging was a way for me to get my story out there. I knew I had one and I wanted to share it and hopefully inspire some people. I just thought, hey if anyone decides to read it , then that’s great but if not I will keep on telling my stories.

Do you prefer to workout at home, at a traditional gym, or a specialized workout facility?

I cannot work out at home! I am way too easily distracted by laundry, kids, cooking etc! I run outside in warmer non winter weather, at the Y on the treadmill when it’s cold and then at my fav Box Crossfit Belleville!

Favorite board game or smartphone game?

This is funny because I am known to never play games, again I haven’t the patience to sit still for any length of time. But… Mini diva and I downloaded Bread Kittens the other day on the IPad and we play that together!

What vitamins or supplements do you take daily?

Well everyday I take 2 multi’s, 2 calcium citrate with D3, amino acids during a workout, Egg protein post workout and of course Energybits prior to every workout! Gotta get that algae in ya!
