Happy to report that I am back and in good health! No more back issues plaguing me since the 10k, that visit to the chiropractor sure did fix me up!

I am using Hal Higdons Intermediate training program and so far I am liking it. Ok really it has been 2 days , but whatever.

Monday called for stretch and strengthen, done… Tuesday was a 3 mile run….done and today I’m going to the gym for 5×400’s . so looking forward to this plan. It boggles my mind though that 12 weeks from now I will be doing my 2nd half marathon. 12 weeks… that’s not that far away! Yikes

September’s no grocery challenge has been successful… as well as operation clean out freezer.. I actually was able to take the boxes off the top of the freezer and close it! Yeah! The 20 lb lasagna I made the other day with my freezer beef was a hit! I am also taking the boy up the rest of his meat this week so that will leave me with oodles of room.

Food porn has been lacking again…sorry… I will bring it back , I promise!

  1. A half marathon in December! That's brilliant and will certainly keep the motivation levels up. Seems I'll have to take a leaf out your book Dawn and have a look for a local event. During November to February I usually just maintain fitness levels and recover ready for the following season. You'll be sooo ready for it and better prepared with your training programme. Good luck with with your training!
