You betcha… a foam roller…
Turns out my knee issue was definitely an IT band issue and this is what will get me all better!
I went to the gym today and did a little 4.3km run with some walking breaks then proceeded to roll the crap out of my IT bands.. and I was highly aware of their tightness. This exercise hurt in a kind of good way, I could feel the tension releasing from my hip and thigh. I know that if I continue this I will be ready to get back out on the streets and run my little flat butt off!
A trainer at my gym approached me today to see if I would help out in the fall with a learn to run program! I absolutely said yes, they have been so good to me there that I can pay it back!
Today was a great day!
