I haven’t had much food porn photos lately and figured I better get at it, before I lose followers!
So I decided to make my most favourite breakfast ever – Crockpot Steel Cut Oats
Now this is a really really difficult recipe people… pay close attention

1 cup of steel cut oats ( I use Bob’s Red Mill)
4 cups water
dash of nutmeg and cinnamon

Place all ingredients in slow cooker and set at low.. cook for 7 hours – or so

Add a little soy milk or almond milk and some frozen fruit and you are good to go. I like to make a pot and then put the leftovers in dishes for the rest of the week.. makes it extra easy to grab and go!
So there you have it, my contribution to the food porn world… and this meal was completely vegan too! Im getting there!
Now onto the running , I did my 2 rest days and let me tell you it was rough. I worked like mad just to keep my mind busy. I wanted to run so bad, but I rested.. then today when I went to the gym and for the first 3 minutes I couldn’t figure out how to breathe? I was like what is happening to me? I had to calm down and pace myself.. no more 2 days off for this girl.. it messes me all up.. I was only able to do 7.20 km in 50 minutes today… I had a 3 minute cooldown in there.. it was really hot in the gym today!
