I love me a sweet little protein ball! I never ever use my protein powder in milky shakes, I hate them, harsh words but from a lactose intolerant person they suck. I never in my life enjoyed a milkshake so I use my protein to make balls of goodness. There are a ton of recipes online for these, but this is how Inkdgirl rolls
I use this product , Davinci Sugar Free Peanut butter syrup..Here goes my “recipe”
2 cups quick oats
1/2 cup water
6 tbsp of almond butter or peanut butter or sunflower seed butter
1 heaping tbsp of unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
1/4 cup ground flaxseed
4 splashes of Davinci syrup ( any kind will do)
4 scoops of protein powder , vanilla or chocolate
Mix it all up in a bowl, then roll into balls, place in a wax paper lined tray and freeze, once frozen you can place into snack size bags for on the go!
What is on top you ask? Smuckers sugar free caramel syrup, trust me you want to do this! Do not skip this step!
